Ryan Alan Lax

Ryan has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and investment industry. In 2008, he partnered with Halperin & Co, from which Halperin & Lax, LLC emerged. Five years later, he acquired the Halperin partnership of the business and merged with his father's business, Marvin William Lax & Company, to establish Lax & Co. LLC.

Ryan specializes in assisting business owners, executives, individuals, retirees, and their families with

multi-line insurance, retirement, and financial planning. A nationally recognized leader in the industry, he can develop a clear understanding of each clients' needs and deliver personalized service.

Over the past 10 years, Ryan has been trained in numerous aspects of advanced financial planning services, including a variety of specially prepared financial profiles on both a personal and a business directed level.

In 2018, Ryan became the only businessperson in Rhode Island to be vetted and accepted to Forbes Boston Business Council, an invitation-only community for successful business owners and leaders in Greater Boston and the surrounding area.

Ryan is an active member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisor.  A proud owner of Lion Street, he is also a registered representative of LPL Financial.  His commitment to the community at large is well known through his philanthropy.  

In his spare time, Ryan is involved in several youth sports teams throughout the state.  He is a proud supporter and is active in the Providence College Friar Men's Basketball Program,  Ryan can be found with his wife and four sons at their games, events, and Summer camps.   A well-rounded leader, philanthropist, community member, and family man, Ryan understands the importance of balance and involvement.  These have been and continue to be major contributing factors to his success and relationships with all the Lax & Co. clients.
